Sleep has always been known to be critical as far as living healthy is concerned. Lacking sleep can contribute towards deteriorating health, obviously because people would be compromising the needed recharging time for people after a long and hard day.

But it seems that sleep is a key towards living longer. A study has found that people who reach 100 are three times more likely to spend at least 10 hours a night in bed. The research shows that health problems are associated with poor sleep quality. When we sleep, our cells regenerate and we also remove toxins and activate immune system cells.
