What do you think of it? I think I’m going to stock up on it before the baby is born.

I don’t think I’d try it. The lavender baby soaps and lotions work well for helping a new baby sleep. Otherwise just make sure that the baby is dry, full, and you should have no problems. I don’t think I’d try herbal things on a new baby. Best wishes to you!

If your baby is properly fed and cared for he/she shouldn’t need any sleep assistance natural or otherwise. When they are first born they wake up to feed b/c they need be fed several times during each 24 hour period. Perhaps you need to stock up on some natural energy remedies instead :) Good luck!!

As a medical professional, I’m against it. Why are you assuming that your unborn child will have a sleep disorder. Welcome to being a parent and not getting much sleep in the first few months. Sleep when your baby sleeps and it will help. Your baby should sleep 3-4 hrs at a time, so take advantage of sleep times.

I think you should consult a doctor befor to make sure it is safe and it should only be used when it is neccessary not all the time. If you cant bond with your baby like feeding, cuddling, stroking and rocking to get them to go to sleep then you child is going to miss out on an important part of child hood and you will miss out on one of the most enjoyable parts of parent hood. Fair enough to use it when the baby wont settle but to use it all the time is not a good idea and a lazy way to parent a child

Mommy’s milk has properties in it that help babies sleep. Just one more reason to breastfeed

Thanks for telling me about this…To be safe I’d only use like half the recommended dose for a teething baby etc with warm milk.

hmm, I may buy a bottle or two aswell : )
