go to a doctor and he can give you a light/ mild or medium seditive and youll be out for a while.. or illegal just smoke some really good weed. or sleeping pills.
Ativan can knock u out pretty well!
Talk to your doctor as there are many anxiety medications that would help or for that matter many new sleep medications that he could prescribe. I took a valium when I flew to Hawaii. I love to fly I just wanted to sleep during the long flight to be fresh when we arrived so I didn’t sleep away those precious beach hours. It worked for me. Good luck.
try a good dose of Ny-Quil
be careful because they notice you are under a drug or medicine they can let you out of your flight.
u can do an old fashion remedy of drinking a couple of glasses of milk which settles ur stomach and u can sleep like a baby
The problem is this – any drug that would do that is going to keep you out for anywhere between 16 and 36 hours. Makes getting off the plane rather difficult. Not to mention, putting someone “out” like that has very certain risks – which is why I can only shake my head at the frat boys who party till they pass out every weekend. Anytime you lose consciousness you risk death. Its a simple fact.
Try facing your irrattional fear – start writing about where you got this belief, and then list at least 20 reasons in which it imparts your life. It will help you cope as oppossed to getting you doped.
Finally, talk to your doctor about an alpha blocker – thats a class of drugs used for blood pressure that block adrenaline – the same thing putting you into a panic – they are used to relieve situational anxiety – like being on a plane, singing in public, etc
This sounds like an awful idea. (Taking drugs to sleep through a flight).
It won’t be as bad as you think.
doctor will give you anxiety med. called valium or better yet, xanex
Try melatonin. That stuff knocks me out. If you want a natural remedy try Valerian Root (Safeway has it). But the best is the Melatonin one capsule and out for the count.
So you have the condition called Motion Sickness or Aviation Sickness… and Clostrophobia is fear of Closed Space like room, Compartment etc where you will be alone…
We have the Sense organs in Labrynth (part of Inner ear) which senses the position, movement, acceleration, balance etc..
So you need the medicine which can reduce the symptoms of the motion sickness..
Hyoscine or Scopalamine is the drug used for it, Please Consult a Locality Doctor (ENT) and get the prescription…
Kindly dont use the drugs which cause sleeping or other abusable drugs…
first….enjoy your time in paris. it is absolutely beautiful and just think about how wonderful its going to be once you get off the flight
Now to answer the question…i don’t condone putting yourself into a “deep sleep” for the flight, in fact you’re actually not allowed to do that in the rare case of an emergency. Also any illegal drug use can not only have severe health effects but also get you in alot of trouble with authorities if you got caught. Illegal=highly NOT recommended. However, a doctor can give you an anti-anxiety medication. it may help you sleep through the trip, but if not it will most definitely quiet your nerves about the flight. Over the counter drugs such as Nyquil or Tylenol PM (which I have personally used for nights when i can’t sleep) also work well. Regardless of what you find, please consult your doctor first to make sure that you can take it and that it will not be harmful to your health.
In addition to whatever method you choose I hope that you begin to conquer your fear of flying (i have flown multiple times and hope that in the future you will have an easier time with it) and have an excellent stay in Paris! Hopefully you can find something useful here on Answers.
